Rule III: Eligibility Requirements

Section 4. To be eligible for the MAKI-SCHOLAR program, an applicant must meet the following criteria as stated in Section 7 of Ordinance No. 535-2024:

• Must be a Filipino citizen.
• Must be a resident of the Municipality of Makilala for at least three (3) years prior to the start of the school year (to be duly certified by the Barangay).
• Must be a registered voter of the Municipality of Makilala (both parents and the applicant).
• Must be of good moral character.
• Must carry a regular load as required in his/her curriculum year.
• Must be enrolled in MIST.
• Must be a 3rd year or 4th-year student of MIST.
• Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship grants.
